All prayers bring results

There is this profound book called “Outwitting the Devil” which was written in 1937 by the famous author Napoleon Hill.

The same mastermind that was also responsible for writing one of the best self-help and business books of all time namely “Think and Grow Rich”, which every rich person is familiar with.

In Outwitting the Devil however Napoleon Hill literally interviews the devil, so he claims, and actually compels him to spit out all the ways in which the devil fucks with people’s minds.

One of the ways through which the devil leads people astray is by inducing them with their greatest fears all the time.

Causing them to “drift” in all aspects of life and never come to the logical conclusion that they can actually have anything they want, if they merely demand it from the Universal Storehouse of Infinite Intelligence as he calls it, through the power of prayer.

This Universal Storehouse of Infinite Intelligence is the source of all creation and intelligence in the Universe and in religious terms it is referred to as God’s Consciousness.

We can all communicate with this and use it to receive from it all we desire, the devil makes this perfectly clear in Napoleon Hill’s work.

The following excerpt is directly from the book and it has a Q/A format, Q being the author “Napoleon Hill” and “A” being the Devil.

Outwitting the Devil, chapter 9: Education and Religion

Q: Then you do not advocate prayer as a means of gaining desirable ends?

A: On the contrary I do advocate prayer, but not the sort of prayer that consists of empty, begging, meaningless words. That sort of prayer against which I am helpless is the prayer of definiteness of purpose.

This is the only way that praying actually works. In most religious practices the general believers however do not really have faith in prayer.

Their religious experience is nothing but the effect of their cultural environment and therefore a mere mental construction. The the words they utter in prayers are meaningless for they themselves do not understand the words nor their often metaphorical mystical nature.

Neither does begging or asking from a place of scarcity, fear and a lack of abundance give you anything in return. Napoleon Hill here mentally compelled the devil to reveal the true way in which praying works and that is through having a definite purpose in life.

Q: Why do the majority of prayers fail?

A: They don’t. All prayers bring that for which one prays.

Q: But you just said that definiteness of purpose is the only sort of prayer upon which one can rely. Now you say that all prayers bring results. What do you mean?

A: The majority of people who pray go to prayer only after everything else fails them. Naturally they go with their minds filled with fear that the prayer will not be answered. Well, their fears are realized.

Fear is a powerful tool since it leads people astray. It makes them irrational, indecisive, weak and anxious.

If you carry that into your prayer then you lack all faith and the prayer is done in a complete state of doubt towards the Divine Source that is capable of answering all prayers.

This is what the New-Age people refer to as “The Law of Attraction”, which is basically a Universal Law that literally every person on this Earth with a conscious mind should be able to comprehend.

Our cultural history is full of examples which we still mindlessly parrot around today.

Examples that proof the fact that humans can collectively understand that you can literally attract into your life whatever you want.

We say it all time, think about it.

“What goes around comes around”

“Karma is a bitch”

“What goes up must come down”

“As a man thinks, so he is”

“The chickens will come home to roost”

“Cause and effect”

“For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction”

“As a man sows, so shall he reap”

You see we collectively have understood this as a human race all along, since the most ancient of times.

All cultures and religions throughout history and still today, have some conception of reality in this way.

Therefore “like attracts like”.

And like Jesus Christ literally said:

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

– Matthew 7:7-11

However it seems like Christians most of the time, just blatantly refuse to acknowledge most of Christ’s teachings and rather listen to their church fathers preach fire and brimstone.

Here Christ gives the secret to all his success, and still you have Christians preaching his sole sonship when it comes to these things.

Christ tells us that we already have his power of manifesting our own destiny, meanwhile you have Christians waiting for Jesus’s second coming in the hope that he will solve their problems.

How long do they plan on waiting for?

Another thousand years?

He already came and gave you the entire instruction manual. He already said it 2000 years ago:

“Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand”

– Matthew 4:17

He literally meant “at hand”, you only have to pray in true faith to receive it.

He is not talking about a physical kingdom brothers and sisters, but something which has been accessible to all human beings since the conception of our race.

All Jesus had was faith.

That is how he drove out demons, walked on water, raised the dead, cured the sick, the blind and the lepers.

Faith, nothing more and nothing less.

People refuse to enter prayer with faith and therefore it seems that prayers never go answered.

You lack faith and therefore you lack vision.

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”

– Luke 17: 5-6

We all have the power of Christ which is the potential to obtain Faith, you just have to find it through having a clear cut goal and purpose in life.

This purpose can be strengthened through the power of prayer.

Now let’s see what more profound insights the devil has been compelled to tell us in his interview with Napoleon Hill…

A: The person who goes to prayer with definiteness of purpose and faith in the attainment of that purpose puts into motion the laws of nature which transmute one’s dominating desires into their physical equivalent. That is all there is to prayer.

This is literally the origin of all religion if you can think about it deeply enough.

I bet however that most people can’t, so I won’t digress from the topic at hand again.

This Universal Truth which the devil tries to mask by inspiring fear into people’s minds, is the single and most comprehensive tool given to mankind.

You see we all know this perfectly well, however the fear of religion masks the conscious truth for many people.

We do believe in manifesting our most internal desires and we actually religiously partake in it.

All successful people do so, that is why they write down all of their goals before they implement them.

That is why people listen to affirmations, motivational videos and music that inspires them. In addition to that we see successful people partaking in very active lifestyles, all the time.

They uphold their purpose by setting in place all these different habits of growth, that make them better people in general.

They read, they meditate, they eat healthy, they spend time in nature, they are physically active and a lot of them have some form of spirituality going on.

Look at all these celebrities, they all have some sort of philosophy going on.

All of these things are actually practices that lodge us forward towards the attainment of our desires, whether we do it consciously or unconsciously, faith is an irreplaceable concept for the successful human experience.

Those who are unsuccessful in life, lack faith and are induced with fear.

That is the general masses who are generally just consumers, not physically active and neither are they driven forward by some sort of definite purpose in life.

They drift between all waves that come and go in society.

A: One form of prayer is negative and brings only negative results. One form is positive and brings definite, positive results. Could anything be more simple? People who whine and beg God to assume responsibility for all their troubles and provide them with all the necessities and luxuries of life are too lazy to create what they want and translate it into existence through the power of their own minds.

Your way of praying induces laziness into your mind state, when you plainly ask for miracles instead of the power to perform them yourself.

Because God the Father can do it, you do realize this, don’t you?

If God the Father gave Christ the power to raise the dead, He can surely give you the power to get whatever little thingy you want from life.

But if you just ask “God please, let me win the lottery”, all you are going to receive is the opportunity to buy more lottery tickets and gamble away all of your money.

You lack faith in your own capacity for success, so you place your faith in things like lucky numbers.

Therefore faith in the lottery is something they used to call Idolatry.

You inspire yourself with fear because the prayer is not grounded in a success mindset, but infertile grounds.

“With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”

He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

– Jesus Christ, Mark 4: 24-29

We’ve been praying all our lives my friends, all our lives have been one big communion with Universal Intelligence; a Divine Intelligence that has been regulating each and every single desire you’ve had in order to put it into its physical form.

Often literally.

A: When you hear a person praying for something that he should procure through his own efforts, you may be sure you are listening to a drifter. Infinite Intelligence favors only those who understand and adapt themselves to her laws. She makes no discrimination because of fine characters or pleasing personality. These things help people negotiate their way through life more harmoniously with one another, but the source from which prayer is answered is not impressed by fine feathers. Nature’s law is, “Know what you want, adapt yourself to my laws, and you shall have it.”

Q: Does that harmonize with the teachings of Christ?

A: Perfectly. Also it harmonizes with the teachings of all truly great philosophers.

If you never immerse yourself in any religious literature, you will never be able to truly comprehend this.

But all religions started at the mouth of one philosopher, and these great philosophers used the power of having definite purposes in life as their main inspirational source of faith.

From having a purpose, which is almost always a burning desire for the attainment of truth, these great philosophers literally emanated divine personalities into the world in the form of mythology, religion and mystical traditions.

And all these ancient stories give us the exact same coherent truth, which is the fact that prayers always have the desired effect.

They all tell us to communicate our desires towards the Divine realm or the realm of Spirit in some way, shape or form.

It doesn’t matter where you are born, in every single tribe around the world, ancient and present, there is some form of religious experience and communication with the world of the Unseen.

And everywhere you go, this is assumed by people to compel the forces of Nature to do our bidding.

That is basically what prayer is.

It always works, that is why evil people are able to prosper very well in this world.

We are creators and our prayers have effects, because we are able to influence Nature through communication with God’s Consciousness or the Storehouse of Infinite Intelligence as Napoleon Hill perfectly named it.

This is how Christ performed miracles:

Once upon a time in ancient Israel, the disciples of Jesus were trying to exorcise a demon-possessed boy, without success however.

They decided to bring the boy to Jesus directly, and let him have a try…

“a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”

“You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.”

Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

– Matthew 17: 14-21

There you have it, the truth of the ages, given to the Jews by Jesus Christ.

You can achieve anything you want if you approach it with faith, this is the way prayers are answered.

Not because of your words or rituals but the faith and definiteness of purpose that you empower it with.

Let’s see what secret knowledge behind the power of prayer, the Arabian prophet Muhammad gave to his people, a little bit further south from the place where Jesus drove out demons.

يُسْتَجَابُ لأَحَدِكُمْ مَا لَمْ يَعْجَلْ فَيَقُولُ قَدْ دَعَوْتُ فَلاَ أَوْ فَلَمْ يُسْتَجَبْ لِي

“The supplication of every one of you is granted if he does not grow impatient and says: I supplicated but it was not granted.”

– Prophet Muhammad, Sahih Muslim: Book 48, Hadith 125

Basically whatever you ask for in prayer, it will be given to you, unless you start doubting that you’ll actually get it because that means you’ve lost faith.

It means the devil got in with his satanic whispers of fear, doubt, lack and scarcity.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

– Jesus Christ, The Gospel of Matthew 11:24

You need to have a definite purpose, aim or goal; notify what that is in any way, shape or form and start praying on it with faith that you will achieve it.

This will fill your mind with newly found creativity, intelligence and mental strength causing you to propel forward in life.

This is how the mind through communion with God’s Infinite Consciousness manifests desires into physical equivalents.

Q: Is your theory of definiteness in harmony with the philosophers of men of science?

A: Definiteness is the major difference between a scientist and a drifter. Through the principle of definiteness of purpose and plan, the scientist forces nature to hand over her most profound secrets. It was through this principle that Edison uncovered the secret of the talking machine, the incandescent electric light, and scores of other benefits for mankind.

Scientists don’t pray, although their actions basically function as prayers.

Remember, as we’ve said before, the great Universal Storehouse of Infinite Intelligence or Nature basically, does not care if you are Good or Bad.

Every self-conscious being in this Universe is able to exploit its powers and turn the forces of Nature to it’s will.

We are created in the Image of God as the Bible says and manipulating Nature and it’s limitless potential is exactly what God does, in order to create the Universe.

Think about that for a second.

We are self-conscious and therefore able to consciously manipulate the world around us.

We’ve been doing this our entire lives.

Binding Nature to our will through harnessing the powers of fire, water, natural gases, fossil fuels, winds, oxygen, air, metals and electricity.

Manipulating the Earth in order to produce enormous unprecedented food supplies, consuming its living organisms like plants, fruits, seeds, fungi, minerals and animals.

This is what humans all have to do in order to just live basic human lives.

Without manipulating nature man remains like an animal.

But obviously we don’t any longer have animal minds, we’ve woke up to a more conscious reality.

This explains why purpose is part of the human evolution, the drive to endlessly discover more and more of the Universe in which we find ourselves.

This is what drives science forward, the self-conscious semi-godhood humans enjoy above all other specimens that live on this planet.

The power to attract our own destiny and manifest our endless desires through the power of our Will.

Which is fed by having a definite purpose in life, which is basically faith in the attainment of whatever you desire from this world.

However I am not the first person to proclaim these Universal teachings, since they have been established since eternity.

And thank God, I won’t be the last person either, because these Universal Laws have been established eternally.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

– Jesus Christ, Matthew 7: 21-23

O Lord Jesus Christ, please enlighten us, where is this kingdom of heaven that you’re always talking about, hmm…?

“nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”

– Jesus Christ, Luke 17:21

Though your eyes might have read these words, your mind still disagrees. Though your mind keeps praying, your heart still disbelieves.
